Supporting our Residents with Dementia
Our care home in Exeter offers a huge amount of support to all of its residents and their loved ones. We know that living with dementia can be difficult, which is why we are proud to offer people and their families the dementia care and support they need to enable them to make the most of everyday life. We provide around-the-clock care, and our nurses are always ready to assist our residents with anything they might need, whether it be personal care, medical care, or just a friendly face to talk to. We make sure that every member of our dementia care team is fully qualified in providing comprehensive dementia care.
Our excellent care team here at Alexander House Care Home has the tools and expertise to effectively deliver high-quality care to all of our residents with dementia, and can expertly evaluate which therapies are required and when medical plans must be adjusted. We offer specialised, outstanding levels of care to all of our residents, and we warmly welcome all relatives and friends to come and visit us at Alexander House Care Home.
Supporting people holistically is something we take incredibly seriously. That’s why all of our facilities here at Alexander House Care Home have been built and designed with our residents in mind, allowing them to enjoy activities from the comfort of their own home. After each resident’s initial care plan assessment, they’ll be assigned their own beautifully decorated en-suite bedroom for them to call their own. Every resident has full access to our garden, private dining room, a varied activities programme and so much more.
