Ready for Outings with our Residents

Redsident on a Walk Outside

At Alexander House Care Home, we are readily preparing for our home opening late this summer. As part of those preparations, we have purchased a multi-utility vehicle.

Having this mode of transport offers our residents a sense of freedom and independence as they will be encouraged to use the staff-driven vehicle for their own personal needs, such as for appointments, day trips to Pinhoe, and meeting with loved ones.

We are also excited to be able to take our residents out into the local community, whether that be visiting their local café, a trip to the gardening centre, or a day out by the river at Topsham.

It is also integral to us that we build relationships with those in our local community and this will play a big part in that, as we are able to help our residents get out and explore the area.

We very much look forward to meeting our new residents, taking them out to explore the local area and making memories with them.

If you would like to find out more information about the care or facilities we will be providing at our new 67-bed care home in Exeter, then please don't hesitate to get in touch with our friendly team.
